Palmentino Rosso, Vino di Anna, 2017
Made mostly from Nerello Mascalese, but with up to 5 or 6 red & white varietals for companion, Anna’s Palmentino Rosso has a dancing complexity. The grapes are transported back and pressed in the 250 year old palmento back at the winery. From black soils on decomposed lava (volcanic) they clearly take on much of the mineral content, giving the wines a real smack of savoury intrigue.
