Doing something none thought thinkable in the Loire Valley, Riffault has always trail-blazed his interpretations of the region’s indigenous varietals. This skin-contacted Sauvignon Blanc takes late-harvested grapes and leaves them to cold-soak for upwards of a week. The revealing nose is full of magical aromatics and the finish leaves a pleasantly briny bitterness alongside plush autumnal stonefruits.
